Electrostatic grounding method for galvanized pipes

Experts, generally speaking, static grounding is achieved by welding metal plates to the pipeline itself; since galvanized pipelines cannot be welded, can this method still be used for static grounding?
Aren’t galvanized pipes generally used for transporting gases? Is it also necessary to eliminate static electricity in this case?:o
Why can’t it be welded? Can zinc be added after welding?
Galvanized pipes can be welded... you just need to grind the welding area a bit. And it’s not a pressure-bearing part when it’s grounded.....
It can be welded; the area to be welded should be polished first, and zinc plating is required on both the inside and outside of the pipe after welding.

Welding is required; be careful when welding, and then apply paint to fill in any gaps
