Can ultrasonic testing be used instead of radiographic testing for austenitic stainless steel pipes?

As the title suggests, I’ve encountered a dispute recently regarding the use of ultrasonic testing on austenitic stainless steel pipes. The argument is that Appendix I of NB/T47013.3_2015 specifies that ultrasonic testing is applicable only for workpieces with a thickness of 10–80 mm.
Use RT for below 30, and UT for above. If your tube is thick, you can use UT.
What was said on the second floor is correct; thick pipes cannot be penetrated by RT. A film can take several hours. Only UT. There is another one called PAUT. . .
What does PAUT refer to?
As far as I remember, radiographic testing and coloring are used for inspecting welds in austenitic stainless steel.
