Can steam be piped through unrelated workshops?

I encountered a problem in reality, related to chemical engineering projects. There are three workshops, A, B, and C, arranged in sequence. There is a DN250 steam pipeline that does not pass through any pipe truss, but instead runs directly from A, through B, to C. I’m not sure if this is feasible (as required by the client) Are there any guidelines that address this?
What type of workshop is ABC? Is it a production facility workshop with an open steel frame structure, or a workshop with a closed building structure that houses chemical equipment?

Steam pipes can be run arbitrarily as long as they do not obstruct passage.

Mainly, it is specified in Sh3012 that permanent above-ground and underground pipelines shall not pass through or cross process units, system components, or tank groups that are not related to them. No corresponding requirements for steam are specified in the chemical engineering standards.
