Excuse me, what are these three reserved openings on the pipeline used for?
It’s a backup port, but what is it backing up?
You need to ask the process team – what medium is it?
It could be a spare port, a sampling port, a port reserved for a thermometer, or a port reserved for a branch pipe.
It’s all sealed off and there’s no manual valve for control; it probably isn’t meant for sampling. What medium is flowing through it? It could be a purge line used before or after use, or simply, it might be a space reserved for installing a temperature gauge or pressure gauge
You can check the PID; sometimes for ports with special purposes, the design team will leave notes
Why does it look like a gas pipeline? If it is indeed a gas pipeline, it might be a vent; isn’t this one installed? Also, the location seems to be incorrect; we still need to look at your flowchart
