In my opinion, ball valves have many advantages over globe valves: they offer good sealing, low pressure drop, and are easy to operate. Should globe valves be used only in situations where slow opening and closing are required, while ball valves can be used in all other cases?
Ball valves should be used for solid particles and media with high viscosity; gate valves cannot be used
I think it’s still necessary to take it apart and analyze it in detail; specific operating conditions can be specified for such an analysis
