I recently encountered a project related to the vaporization of liquid chlorine. Chlorine is a highly hazardous substance; are there any specific requirements regarding the flange types used for the intake and discharge of such toxic and explosive fluids?
Waisted butt-weld flanges are widely used.

For the petrochemical standard version 50160-2008, it must be 08, not 2018; this is clearly specified in the standards. The allowable pressure for toxicity-related requirements is not less than 2.0 MPa. Standard 50316 specifies that RF flanges should not be used when toxicity is a concern, and WN-MFM faces should be preferred; moreover, for valves, FM faces in accordance with standard HG20592 should be used first
