It should be a buffer, a device that maintains stable outlet pressure. It has a diaphragm inside; one end of the diaphragm is filled with pressure-stabilizing gas, while the other end is filled with the working medium.

I think it should be the buffer at the outlet of the positive displacement pump; in the model, it was represented by a section of pipe for simplicity, and it should contain sealing fluid and a diaphragm inside
