For the projects currently being carried out, where domestic flanges are used, what standard is generally considered appropriate or most commonly used? Should GB/T 9112~9125-2010 or HG/T 20592~20635-2009 be chosen?
Chemical engineering projects mostly follow HG/T 20592~20635-2009, SH/T3406-2013, and ASME B16.5; standards from the Ministry of Machinery are hardly ever seen

Regarding flanges, the HG20592-09 standard is now used in the chemical industry, while what is available on the market is mainly based on the older HG5010-58 and JB/T81-94 standards. Moreover, even those available on the market do not meet the standard requirements; to keep costs low, efforts are made to reduce their thickness and other specifications. Most are HG/T20592. The dimensions of flanges GB/T9112-9125 and HG/T20592 are the same. If purchased at a low price, it is usually a flange with an outer diameter of -5mm and a thickness of -3mm.
I think standard American flanges are more convenient, unified, with clear and strict requirements. The domestic market is too complicated; as a supplier, choosing domestic standards can lead to difficulties.
