Upon inspection by experts, it was recommended that pressure testing records be kept for the joints of the loading and unloading equipment (flexible hoses, oil transfer arms). I checked two standards: In section 4.13 of HG/T 21608 – Technical Requirements for Liquid Loading and Unloading Arms – there are detailed specifications for pressure testing, which state that the testing should be carried out after the assembly is complete. The specific pressure testing cycle for the equipment is not specified. (This regulation is presumably intended for manufacturers.) 2. I then checked TSG R4002-2011, the Rules for Licensing the Filling of Mobile Pressure Vessels, and section A3.2 (6), which states that the filling unit or the user unit must conduct a pressure resistance test on the loading and unloading pipes every six months; the test pressure should be 1.5 times the nominal pressure of those pipes, and records of the test along with the names of the persons who conducted it must be kept. I would like to ask the seniors: how should one determine the interval for pressure testing the loading and unloading equipment used in one’s own company?

Flexible hoses are not used for loading and unloading, and therefore cannot be subjected to pressure tests every six months.

In fact, one can ask experts whether this rule is a requirement imposed by regulations, or whether the bookmaker thinks it’s better that way; one can also ask what should be done
Same question. Logically, when the valves on the ship are closed to maintain pressure, the pressure in the oil transfer arm would become extremely high, and it should be classified as a pressure pipeline. But the sealing surface of the oil transfer arm cannot be inspected; only pressure testing can determine its sealing performance. Is the cycle determined by the pressure pipeline? Should it still be considered a mobile pressure vessel, viewed as a connection between fixed and mobile vessels, requiring a pressure test once a year?
