I plan to make a DN50D hole in a steam pipeline with a pressure of 60 kilograms, a temperature of over 300 degrees, and a diameter of DN250, in order to connect a 50-mm pipe for heating other processes. Is it possible to do this directly? Are there any relevant specifications?
For Dn50, a fitting platform is required; drilling directly is not allowed. The material should be either P11 or 1Cr5Mo, and heat treatment is also necessary
It can be started directly; just calculate the reinforcement for the pipe opening； If you don’t want to do the calculations, simply choose the branch pipe base
