Can a threaded ball valve be used on PN100 pipelines? I would appreciate some guidance from experts, thank you!
The forged three-piece threaded ball valve can be used in any pipeline with a pressure of up to 1500LB. It works in both high and low temperatures!
Yes, there are many cases where the pressure at the wellhead is 42 MPa; for such situations, threads with a rating of 9000 PSI or similar can be used. The pressures specified in API6a should be taken as a reference – PN100 represents a low pressure level, so conventional threads are sufficient
