For this underfloor heating system, which is the inlet and which is the outlet? Is that one at the top a check valve? If it’s a check valve, then it must be the inlet. But why is the tube above cold while the one below is warm? Why isn’t the underfloor heating in the room hot? This explanation is a bit amateurish; there’s not much technical expertise behind it, so just think of it as something casual
The heat below should be the incoming water, but there is a one-way valve above – so can water still circulate?
It seems that the copper one is a Y-type filter. I don’t know much about underfloor heating. The following points should be considered: 1: Whether the pipeline is unobstructed, for example, whether the filter is clogged. 2: Does the pipeline have a power source? Is the power (or pressure difference) sufficient to drive the water flow? 3: Is the component installed incorrectly?
Figure 2 shows a Y-type filter, which should ideally be installed at the inlet, that is, on the hot water side. It’s of little use if it’s installed at the outlet. Is it because there was no space, so it was installed backwards, which caused the pipes to get clogged?
Turn off the valve and open the Y-filter to clean it; it’s possible that the filter is clogged. This should be connected to the geothermal inlet pipeline in the direction indicated by the arrow.
So I suspect it’s the geothermal company that connected the inlet and outlet pipes incorrectly; the Y-shaped filter in the hallway was also installed on the pipe that isn’t heated

At the entrance is a Y-shaped filter. When in use, exhaust ventilation is required at both the inlet and outlet, and a certain amount of water still needs to be discharged after water is detected. The filter needs to be cleaned. Underfloor heating pipes need to be cleaned every year to maintain the desired temperature.
Looking at the arrow on the filter, it seems to indicate that water is flowing back; the principle of water entering from below and exiting from above should be followed. It’s likely that the filter is clogged.
That’s a filter; close the inlet and outlet valves, remove the filter element and check to see if it’s clogged. Determine whether the high temperature of the return water is just an illusion. Don’t touch the main pipe – instead, touch the branch pipes that are further away; it’s possible that the main pipe’s temperature is being transmitted to those pipes due to heat conduction
