Structural analysis of parallel chord trusses

I have recently started studying parallel chord trusses, and I was wondering if any of the more experienced colleagues could recommend books that I might find useful for learning. In addition, we are facing a problem at the construction site right now: during the installation of the pipe rack earlier, it was installed at a slight angle horizontally, which resulted in the east side being a few centimeters higher than the west side. The workers came up with the idea of cutting away a part of the pipe rack that was supposed to be installed on the east side. However, after making those cuts and lifting the rack using a crane, it turned out that the truss intended to be installed formed a parallelogram shape. This meant that another portion had to be cut off and welded to the inclined sides in order to restore the truss to its rectangular shape. My question is: will this lead to a decrease in the structural stability of the truss? After all, a large part had to be cut off, and then a lot of re-welding was required. Thank you.
