For large steam turbines, our control valve packing is made of molded graphite packers; first, throttling is achieved through the throttle sleeve, and then high-pressure packing and low-pressure packing are used.

In high-temperature valves, there is a temperature difference between the inside and outside, which causes thermal expansion and contraction in that area, resulting in the hole shrinking and the valve stem getting stuck. First of all, thank you all! It was discovered by accident that the vibration was caused by sticking of the throttle valve stem, which led to wear of the stem and leakage of the medium. Here’s a tip: spraying a bolt loosener regularly can solve this problem; P
