I encountered a special pipe fitting on site, with two flanges butt-welded. The interior is a structure similar to a large and small head. There are two sampling pipes on the side, but it is not transparent to measure the depth with wire... Ask an experienced teacher to look at the name of this pipe fitting and what is its function? Is it a double-layer pipe joint? If the wire cannot penetrate, try blowing it with air.
It is a bit similar to a purge ring. It may be that there is not enough space for piping. Special pipe fittings are used to reduce the diameter, especially for purging or sampling purposes.
