In the pipeline layout diagram, the pump outlet fittings and valves cannot be shown clearly; as in the image, only one valve is visible, and it’s not possible to determine whether pressure gauges, check valves, tees, etc. are present. Is this correct? Please, experts, help me! !
Without an elevation view, just look at the single-line diagram; it’s indeed impossible to tell from this diagram whether there are any other valves or piping components
But as a designer, shouldn’t he make this clear?
If you want to make it clear, just draw another elevation view. If there is an ISO diagram, there’s no need to worry about it.
Piping layout construction drawings are meant for use by workers during construction, and they must be clear and understandable. However, you can choose the form of representation yourself; it can be an elevation view, a line diagram, or an axonometric view of a particular section.
If there is a single-line diagram, use it to check; if not, consult the pipe section table. If you can’t find it anywhere, ask the on-site representative in charge of the design.
It’s very odd; it doesn’t look like a 3D-rendered image, and the legends used are similar to those used in the early stages of LPEC. Hand-drawn design drawings are usually plan views with details, or plan views with line drawings. It must be the work done in the courtyard; generally, the courtyard can only be used for submission purposes and related to those called Wu Long Yang Gui Zi.
