Which standards should be followed for the excavation and backfilling of trenches for industrial metal pipes?

Which standards should be followed for the excavation and backfilling of trenches for industrial metal pipes? The GB 50235 Code for Construction of Industrial Metal Pipe Projects does not contain any provisions regarding the excavation and backfilling of trenches. Since the pipes in my case need to be buried underground, relevant standards must be applied; which ones should be followed?
I’m not quite sure about this. What I’ve seen is that they lay the pipes beside the piled soil, push the soil into ditches and level it out, and then pave it with asphalt
