In a recent project, screw pumps and gear pumps that comply with API676 were used, and I have some questions I’d like to ask everyone: 1. When requesting the allowable nozzle load from the manufacturer, what coefficient is generally used? 2. Appendix F of API676 specifies the requirements for pulsation and vibration control; so, do such pumps experience vibration frequently during actual operation? Is it necessary to conduct verification as requested?
