Can a safety valve be used to control the pressure during the discharge of high-temperature liquids? The material is a low-viscosity liquid, and the pipes need to be heated to over 100 degrees. Can a safety valve be used as a discharge valve for this purpose? I’m considering using a safety valve to regulate the pressure during discharge; I would appreciate it if experts could provide some guidance

The idea is wrong! The functions are completely different, okay. Distinguish the purposes of control valves and safety valves.

A safety valve is a type of valve that operates intermittently, and it has certain specificity and selectivity with regard to the medium and operating conditions. Not suitable as an operating valve for process control.
It really isn’t possible; safety valves serve as protective devices and measures for pipelines and equipment. Controlling the discharge at a certain pressure should be possible with specialized valves.
