I’ve seen ones that face up and ones that face down. . It’s the first time I’ve seen it from the side
It’s normal; it has nothing to do with the direction. It’s just that if it’s facing downward, a guide valve and a drain air vent valve need to be added.
I’ve never seen anything like this; in my previous workplace, they were all horizontal or vertical, with their direction being in the same plane as the flow of the pipes.
Sure, it saves space.
This setting prevents expansion bends from affecting the installation of other pipelines in the pipe gallery.
