Is the fueling station 5 meters away from the station building? Measured from the fueling center? Or the device edge?
Starting from the center line of the fueling pump, there should be a one-way lane at least 4 meters wide between the station building and the fueling pumps. Additionally, if the station building contains a power distribution room, its doors and windows must be located at least 3 meters away from the explosion-proof area of the gasoline fueling pumps.
All are calculated from the edges; there is an explanation in the building codes
It’s not necessarily the case; I’ve worked on one like this a long time ago, and I think it was located in the center... I should check the design specifications for gas stations.
