Several methanol storage tanks in the plant require waste gas recovery for their breather valves. . I checked at the station, and it seems that the exhaust gases are generally collected and treated before reaching the vent valve. There are pilot-operated breather valves available, as well as those with a tee directly attached to the breather valve. . I was wondering, are there any manufacturers in this field? A fan is used to collect the gases emitted from the top of the tank; these gases are absorbed by a water-washed packed tower. The gases at the top of the tower are released on-site, while the water from the bottom of the tower is recycled in the middle section under pressure to enhance absorption; some of the wastewater is either discharged or recovered.
