Can large-diameter and small-diameter pipes, as well as bent pipes, be welded directly? If not, what is the specific standard that prohibits welding in such cases? ? The devices our company manufactured were criticized by the clients, who said that straight sections and bends cannot be welded directly together. But they have already been delivered to the site, and making modifications is very difficult... We need some standards
There are no rules stating that these things are prohibited; if you decide it’s okay, then there’s no problem.
Users keep finding faults and insist on a standard :(
If it’s not prohibited by the standards, then it’s feasible; so why go to the standards to ask whether such an action is allowed? Can the standards really say that?

It is indeed not allowed; a section of pipe must be added between the elbow and the reducer. I’ve forgotten which standard specifies this
