The new boiler regulations stipulate that the welded joints of the pipes in pressure-bearing heat carrier boilers, where there are no straight sections between bends, must undergo 100% radiographic or ultrasonic testing. Then which standard is followed for manufacturing the elbows in the straight pipe sections? Or should a straight pipe section of a certain length be customized based on the dimensional specifications for steel butt-welded seamless fittings as specified in GB12459?
