For this type of valve, the valve core inside the valve body begins to disintegrate. The key problem is that the lower stem is difficult to position. The strict positioning position inside the butterfly valve is at the end of the bottom valve stem. That is the thickness of the gasket at the bottom, which is used to adjust the valve core position. It is best to have a spare valve first to avoid delaying production if it cannot be repaired. For reference.
Stop the water, mark it, and remove all the heads to expose the filler. Dig it out and add new ones. Tighten and fill. Reinstallation and debugging.

There should be a packing pressure plate, which is connected to the valve body with hexagon socket screws. Remove the hexagon socket screws and remove the pressure plate. You should be able to see the packing. After replacing the damaged packing, install the packing pressure plate and tighten the hexagon socket screws. Then install the bracket. There is no need to remove the valve core or the valve stem as mentioned above. Just remove the packing pressure plate and replace the packing. PS: Louzhu’s butterfly valve is leaking badly. Center line flange butterfly valves are generally water leaking. To replace the packing of this type of valve, remove the pressure plate on the top of the valve stem. There is a butterfly circlip. Remove it and pull out the valve stem. Be sure to pay attention to the position.
