Can combustible and toxic exhaust gases without pressure be piped using PVC pipes?

There is currently an exhaust gas stream containing methanol, sulfur dioxide, and ethylene oxide (with no pressure due to natural vaporization), which needs to be piped to a furnace inside the plant for incineration. Some people have suggested using PVC pipes for this purpose, as there is no pressure involved and it is cost-effective. Although it seems inappropriate, there are no explicit provisions in the GB50160-2018 \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" or GB50316-2000 \"Code for Design of Industrial Metal Piping\" that prohibit the use of non-metallic piping. Can anyone find any relevant mandatory regulations?
Section 4.1.6 of the \"Technical Specifications for Non-metallic Piping in Petrochemical Industries\" SH/T3161-2011 stipulates that non-metallic piping shall not be used for transporting flammable media or those with an extremely high or high level of toxicity.
One possible argument against this is that the standard is not a national standard nor is it a mandatory standard
