There are 2 devices, one with a pipe connection of DN80 and the other with one of DN50. How should they be connected properly? Should it be the DN80 pipe that is adapted to fit the DN50 connection, or the DN50 pipe that is adapted to fit the DN80 connection, or does it not matter?
Is it to connect these two devices?
See if you want to save materials； I’m not sure whether changing the diameter first or later has an impact on resistance
I prefer a main pipe of DN80, with the diameter reduced to DN50 at the equipment connection
For the larger ones, with a reduced diameter at the end, there will be no issue of excessive pressure drop
It is usually an eccentric pipe that changes the diameter from 50 to 80, with the main pipeline using DN80
Reducer tees can be used, DN80*DN50
It depends on whether you have any flow requirements; generally, the main pipe is 80, and the final 80/50 reduction connects to a 50-size pipe outlet.
