Which is better, h44f46 or h42f46? All are installed vertically
For check valves with different models, you should check the parameters of the valve before making a decision!
The H44 type has a swing-type structure, with one part of the check plate being fixed, allowing it to move in a fan-shaped motion centered on that fixed point. This structure is suitable for both horizontal and vertical installation. When the pressure inside the pipe is stable, horizontal and vertical installation yield similar check valve effects. When the pressure inside the pipe is unstable and fluctuates frequently, a vertically installed check valve performs better than one installed horizontally. The H42 type structure can only be installed vertically, with the check plate moving vertically up and down during operation. The greater the pressure in the check direction, the better the sealing effect of the check valve. Whether it works well depends mainly on its internal structure; if the structure is robust and scientifically designed, and if the check plate fits perfectly against the valve seat when preventing backflow, then the check function will be excellent ; If the structure is loose and there are large gaps between the components, when the check valve operates, the check plate will not be able to press against the valve seat, resulting in misalignment and an incomplete seal, which prevents the check valve from performing its function. In general, check valves can prevent the backflow of large amounts of material, but they cannot stop minor leaks of small quantities of material; their nature means that their sealing performance is not very tight ; It’s not that check valves must not leak at all. When the pressure in front of the check valve is greater than the pressure behind it, the check valve loses its check function. When the pressure before and after the check valve is the same, its checking effect deteriorates. Since the weight of the valve disc in a vertically installed check valve helps enhance its checking effect, vertical installation is better than horizontal installation. When the pressure before the check valve is lower than the pressure behind it, the check valve performs its function of preventing backflow; the greater the pressure difference, the better the backflow prevention effect.
H42F46 is vertical; as the name implies, it is installed in a vertical position. H44F46 can be used either vertically or horizontally. It is important to note that the structural length of H44F46 is greater than that of H42F46
It can be installed vertically; H44 can also be installed horizontally
