I would like to ask the teachers: The working pressure of the buried fire protection water pipeline is 0.6 MPa, at normal temperature. What pressure rating should be chosen for the pipes, flanges, and valves? Is it specified in which standard? Should gate valves or ball valves be used for fire water valves? Pipe diameter DN300.
Flange grades are divided into the PN series and the class series. Regarding this pressurized fire water, PN16 for the PN series and class 150 for the class series are sufficient; for valves in buried pipelines, concealed stem gate valves equipped with opening/closing scales are recommended, while corrosion-resistant visible stem gate valves can be used when they are installed in valve chambers. For the design requirements regarding the pipe flanges and valves of fire protection pipelines, refer to Chapters 8.2 and 8.3 of GB50974-2014 \"Technical Specifications for Fire Water Supply and Fire Hydrant Systems\".
There’s no issue with the pressure rating chosen for fire protection systems; the main concern is the material used. As for the regulations related to fire protection, well, they’re quite strict regarding material choices. Experts have even stricter views on this, after all they are experts in civil applications, and they make sure to use materials that meet all the requirements specified by fire protection standards

If the fire protection pipeline is designed to handle 6 kilograms of water flow, a 10-kilogram capacity valve will suffice; a soft-seal gate valve should be used
