Experts, why is a bypass pipeline installed at the position of the check valve in the pump outlet pipeline? Thank you.
The material that leaks is directed to the inlet, which is related to the balanced axial force. For reference.
After the pump is stopped, the medium (usually hot water) flows back to the inlet; it is also used for heating pumps in winter.
For self-priming pumps, a standby pump is required as a hot standby; a check valve is used to gently heat the pump, but it must be adjusted so as to prevent the pump shaft from rotating in the reverse direction.
