Installation issues with threaded ball valves

I’d like to ask the forum members: for a threaded ball valve (with threads on both ends), is one end connected to a pipe through threading, and the other end connected to a threaded fitting which is then connected to a union? It seems this design facilitates disassembly and maintenance. For threaded ball valves, if they are connected directly to threaded pipes without any additional fittings, could there be a problem of rotation during installation or disassembly? Are there any other connection methods?
No slip knot was added; it was connected directly.
If a slip-on valve is broken, the only option is to saw through the pipe
May I ask, is it generally a combination of valve + threaded connection + union fitting, or valve + plug?
If a change in diameter is required, add a core. It doesn’t matter whether to use thread or not; a short tube will work as well.
That’s how I work on the projects I’m involved in: I thread the pipes and connect them to fittings (valves, elbows, etc.), then weld the joints between the pipes. If something breaks, I replace the entire pipe as well. This saves time and reduces the risk of omissions: lol
