Could some expert please tell me: in the technical data sheet provided by the customer, under the category of control valves, the types include Globe valve / Plug valve / Ball valve / Disc valve; May I ask what type of valve Plug refers to?
It’s a plug valve. What do you want to know?
This is a plunger valve, not a cock valve:D
Is Plug a plunger valve? Still a plug valve? I believe it is a Plug plunger valve.
Similar to a plug valve, but its opening and closing rely on a square hole in the central pillar; it operates in the same way as a ball valve, by rotating horizontally to open or close. It does not open and close up and down like a gate valve
PLUG is a plug valve; such control valves exist abroad, but the flow loss is too high
I really thank everyone for participating. I just saw that such control-type ball valves actually exist abroad. But with this specific description, it’s really hard to tell whether it’s a valve stem or a plunger. I also consulted a friend who works with control valves yesterday, and he said that PLUG refers to either a balanced or unbalanced valve core.
In this specification sheet, it falls under the category of valves; if it refers to the valve core, then it is a single-seat control valve. Typically, the term \"PLUG\" is used in valves to refer to components similar to the valve disc in globe valves.
