For my graduation project, I need to design a lift valve with a flow rate of 30,000 cubic feet per minute that utilizes VOC treatment. I would like to know what exactly such a lift valve is What category of valve does it belong to? Control valve? Or a switch valve? What principle? How does it work? The RTO regenerative oxidation furnaces commonly used for VOC treatment are of 3-chamber type, with each chamber having 2 lift valves – one connected to the intake pipeline and the other to the exhaust pipeline. During operation, the RTO uses these lift valves to control switching between the two chambers. The lift valve is a type of on-off valve, usually driven by a pneumatic actuator, and comes in straight-stroke and rotary-stroke versions ; Since other gases entering the RTO are generally toxic and flammable, and the valves are switched frequently, high requirements are placed on the sealing performance of the lift valves ; It is also necessary to pay attention to improving the corrosion resistance of the lift valve; some gases entering the RTO produce corrosive by-products that can cause corrosion of the valve plate. The design of the lift valve should also take into account ease of dust cleaning.
