1. In some factories, I saw that the steam condensate from the reaction vessels formed a U-shaped path, with the outlet for the condensate being at a higher level than the outlet of the tank jacket. Will this work? Can water be drained smoothly using a drain trap? The drain outlet is about 1 meter high.
As long as the backpressure setting of the steam trap is sufficient, that’s fine
Just consider the outlet back pressure during design
It’s only 1 meter high, with a pressure of around 10 kPa. The back pressure can be determined based on the pressure in the return water main; it won’t cause any issues
There is a requirement to increase the pressure on the strainer, but I don’t know how to do that.
