Operating temperature: 80°C, operating pressure: less than 16 kg. Are there any advantages or disadvantages? It is planned to be implemented in boiler rooms, heat exchange stations, and thermal wells.
Welded ball valves are not easy to replace after damage; welding work is required, and they have few sealing points; Flanged butterfly valves have multiple sealing points, making them easy to replace, but their sealing performance is poor ;
Welded valves are generally used for small pipes.
Welded ball valves come in various forms; those that are pre-assembled are difficult to replace, while those that are sold in separate parts are easier to replace.
The larger the valve diameter, the more expensive the ball valve is compared to the butterfly valve. Sealing performance is generally better in ball valves, but there are also excellent butterfly valve manufacturers that can achieve ANSI IV sealing even under harsh operating conditions!
What do packaged and bulk forms look like? Are they flanged or welded?
For welded ball valves, if they are installed from above, online maintenance is possible without the need to remove them from the pipeline, and their shut-off performance is better than that of butterfly valves. But the price is definitely higher than that of butterfly valves.
I think it’s the entire valve body or a assembled component, right?
