In the national standard for pipeline identification, GB7231-2003 \"Basic Identification Colors, Identification Symbols, and Safety Markings for Industrial Pipelines\", under the fourth category of basic identification colors, there is no specific color specified for fire protection pipelines; only the color for water pipes is specified – green； Substances – Basic color identification; Color standard codes; Color samples: Water – Light green G03; Water vapor – Bright red R03; Air – Light gray B03; Gases – Medium yellow Y07; Acids and bases – Purple P02; Flammable liquids – Brown YR05; Other liquids – Black –; Oxygen – Light blue PB06. However, item 6.2 of the safety regulations, which deals with fire protection markings, states that the fire protection pipelines installed in industrial facilities must comply with the requirements of GB13495-1992, and the “Fire Protection Use Only” symbol must be marked on such pipelines. The identification area and the minimum font size shall comply with the requirements of 4.5 and 5.4 respectively. The standard GB13495-1992 \"Fire Safety Signs\" does not specify how fire protection pipes should be labeled. According to the classification principles for fire safety signs outlined in this standard, fire pipeline signs should fall under \"3.3 Signs for fire extinguishing equipment.\" In the markings for fire extinguishing equipment in 3.3, the color of all such markings is red; accordingly, the color of fire protection pipes should also be red. Furthermore, section 6.8 of \"GB15630-1995 Requirements for the Installation of Fire Safety Signs\" states that the color of the signs must remain unchanged under all relevant lighting conditions.
