I’d like to ask the experts: what are the holes in the two flanges of the flow control orifice plate for? There’s also a bolt used there, and the holes in the two flanges don’t align with each other
Throttling, right? Then it becomes a through-hole!
Isn’t the flow-limiting function provided by the circular plate with holes inside? I’m asking: on the flange that holds this iron plate, in addition to the bolt holes that correspond to each other, why are there also two bolt holes that do not correspond to anything and cannot be connected?
That’s probably the bolt hole for lifting the cover during maintenance, to facilitate the inspection and replacement of the flow control orifice plate inside
