Butterfly valves are generally used for solid powder materials and in fire protection applications； Corner valve is widely used; all that needs to be considered is the installation space, but it is necessary to take into account the chemical compatibility between the medium and the sealing elements ； Diaphragm valves are used in applications where no residues are allowed. Control valves are used in situations where it is necessary to regulate the flow rate. Electric types are generally used in non-explosion-proof environments. Pneumatic, commonly used in explosion-proof areas. Personal opinions are provided for reference only.
The butterfly valve you are referring to should be a triple-eccentric type; ordinary butterfly valves cannot be used with powdered materials
