Is degreasing necessary for the liquid nitrogen pipeline?

As the title suggests, it refers to the liquid nitrogen pipeline. . .
If the pipeline is designed specifically for transporting liquid nitrogen, then no oil or grease removal treatment is required. However, if it might be temporarily used as another type of pipeline in the process flow, such as for oxygen, chlorine, and other oxidizing media, it is advisable to carry out oil and grease removal treatment.
There is no direct contact, but my personal understanding is that it depends on the cleanliness requirements; for example, if a high purity level is required, then it’s necessary.
Liquid nitrogen – will the oils freeze at low temperatures, and could that damage the valves in the pipelines?
