The company has taken on a project involving the renovation of pipelines at a paper mill’s own thermal power plant; one section of these pipelines is designed to operate at a pressure of 5.3 MPa and a temperature of 530°C. The design is defined as GCD. The design pressure for the section from the secondary steam to the split cylinder is 0.985 MPa, with a design temperature of 230°C; the design unit is also defined as GCD. Can it be understood that the pipe section after the steam distribution cylinder outlet can be defined as GC2?
GCD power pipelines, GC2 industrial pipelines; for use in thermal power plants, it should be GCD
What about cogeneration? Providing heat and gas for production should be classified as GC2

I agree with your understanding; once it goes outside the steam drum, such devices fall under the category of industrial pipelines. Take a look at the boundary divisions of GB32270.
