Standard 20G refers to high-pressure boiler pipes; their price is a few hundred yuan higher than that of 20#8163. Standard 20#9948 is used for oil cracking pipelines, and its physical properties and chemical composition are roughly similar to those of 20G, with similar unit prices as well. Standard 20#6479 is used for high-pressure fertilizer pipelines; in some cases, low-temperature requirements apply. In the market, materials meeting standard 6479 are mostly of type Q345D/E. For 20#, there is also a 3087 standard applicable to medium and low pressure boiler pipes; its price lies between that of the 20#8163 standard and the 5310/9948 standards.
