What are the main brands of safety valves used in famous chemical production facilities abroad? Add to that the loss incurred during periods of shutdown, and the management surely won’t be willing to accept such daily losses. The key to the problem is to find the most reasonable solution, rather than simply saying to install a twin valve. The cost of installing double valves is too high; it’s unaffordable. It wasn’t done during the infrastructure construction, and adding it now makes the renovation process extremely difficult. Even if a solution that combines rupture disks and safety valves is adopted, along with online calibration, the estimated cost is at least 70 to 80 million.
