However, before implementing this scheme, it is recommended to conduct detailed design and evaluation, including the selection of material for the water jacket, structural design, as well as the control of cooling water flow rate and temperature. If conditions permit, re-wiring or adding insulation to the medium-pressure steam pipes can also be considered to prevent high temperatures from affecting the oil pipes directly. .

The current situation on site is that the steam pipelines are difficult to modify; switching to oil pipes or installing jackets would save costs.
