Should temperature parameters be specified when purchasing valves? Because non-metallic components such as the valve seat, valve stem, and the sealing joints of the valve body are affected by temperature, yet temperature seems to have never been mentioned in the valve procurement list
What needs to be specified includes things like low temperatures, as well as low-temperature impact tests. Another example is that valves designed for high temperature and pressure require a separate purchase request.
