When the control valve performs CV calculations, the customer states that there is normal pressure downstream of the valve; should the value downstream be calculated as 0 MPaG? Should we still calculate it at 0.1 MPaG?
If the customer states that the pressure downstream of the valve is at normal pressure, this generally refers to atmospheric pressure, and it can be calculated as 0 MPaG. .
Where is your control valve installed? After the pump? The pressure after the valve should be based on the backpressure when the valve is open, not 0; generally, it’s appropriate to use the pressure before the valve minus 0.1 MPa
