On December 22, the voltage boosting and stabilization work for the connection project between the Shandong Pipeline South Main Line of Sinopec’s Natural Gas Division and the Qingning Pipeline Network was completed, marking the successful connection of these two natural gas pipelines in Shandong and Jiangsu provinces. This advancement helps ensure a stable supply of natural gas during winter in the Bohai Sea region and the Yangtze River Delta area. The starting point of the Shandong Pipeline South Main Line is Lanshan District in Rizhao City, and its ending point is Juancheng County in Heze City; the total length is 462 kilometers. **The Qingning pipeline of the pipeline network starts at the Qingdao LNG receiving station of the Natural Gas Branch and ends at the Nanjing-Yangzhou gas transmission station of the pipeline network, with a total length of 536 kilometers. Shandong Pipeline Company followed strict procedures: after natural gas displacement, gradual pressure increase, and 72 hours of pressure stabilization, comprehensive inspections at the site revealed no leaks, ensuring the successful completion of the commissioning tests and the normal operation of the pipeline.
