First, you need to figure out the conditions under which scaling occurs and address them accordingly. The most direct way in which scaling forms on the pipe walls is when substances first adhere to those walls; then a small amount of scale forms, and subsequently, this scale causes more substances to adhere, thereby accelerating the scaling process! So the simplest solution is to replace the mirror-like tube material, thereby preventing the medium from adhering to the tube walls. The effectiveness of this solution depends on the smoothness of the inner surface of the tube; the higher the smoothness, the better the result! Valves work too!

For Ra0.4 and above, mechanical polishing can achieve the desired result. Based on the poster’s description, it seems to be just a suspension; likely a slurry. 1. The pipe layout should use a step-down or step-up configuration. 2. Elbows should be of large radius (3D, 5D, 10D). 3. This section of pipe, along with the valves, should be replaced with polished pipes and polished valves. If you have no budget concerns, go straight for the best option; if you want to save money, replace the components gradually following the 1-2-3 sequence. Step 3 can be further divided into mechanical polishing and electrolytic polishing – if mechanical polishing doesn’t work, then electrolytic polishing of the pipes is the only option left.
