The company became the supplier of pipes for this project, providing key pipeline transportation technology to support the green and low-carbon transformation of oil and gas fields in China. In recent years, Gemstone Pipe Industry has actively responded to the **\"Dual Carbon\" strategy by taking an early lead in the field of new energy pipelines, and has successfully developed technologies for transporting media such as pure hydrogen, hydrogen-blended gases, and supercritical carbon dioxide. To address technical challenges such as high pressure and low temperature associated with supercritical carbon dioxide pipelines, Gemstone Pipe Industry spent 3 years on independent research and development, and in 2023 created a new type of straight-seam submerged arc welded pipe that meets the requirements of such projects; this product passed third-party testing successfully. At minus 75 degrees Celsius, the welds of this product exhibit an average impact toughness of 120 joules, filling a technical gap in China’s long-distance supercritical carbon dioxide pipelines. Before winning this bid, Gemstone Pipe Industry’s technical team worked closely with customer needs to develop customized product solutions, earning customer recognition through its strong technical capabilities and comprehensive service offerings.
