What is the purpose of the disc on the valve? As shown in the figure.
Do low-temperature or high-temperature media prevent splashes from causing injury?
It should serve for heat dissipation, enhance the strength of the valve cover at the packing box, and at the same time provide some protection against the corrosion caused by acid rain
Insulation strips, which reduce heat transfer upward and have an impact on the filler
It also serves to increase the heat dissipation area.
High-temperature valves, right? This is the heat sink; the upper valve cover has been extended to stay away from the heat source in order to prevent the actuator from being damaged by heat transfer.

When the temperature of the low-temperature medium drops, heat exchange through the drip tray keeps the temperature at the sealing filler area above zero degrees, preventing freezing and frost formation and thus avoiding seal failure. 2. The insulation layer is usually installed below the drip tray; the drip tray prevents rainwater and other substances from entering the insulation layer, thereby avoiding damage such as freezing and expansion of the insulation layer. The valve shown does not have an insulation layer; the medium flowing through it is likely a low-temperature gaseous medium, and the temperature is not low enough to reach ultra-low temperatures. Furthermore, for high-temperature valves, their heat dissipation structure features a multi-plate fin design, that is, a multi-layer heat exchange structure.
