These achievements not only set new records for the diameter and length of insulated pipes both domestically and internationally, but also made Meide Group the first company in the world to possess the capability to produce spiral welded pipes with high steel grades, large diameters, and extremely long lengths. This contributes significantly to the upgrading of China’s pipeline manufacturing industry. The ultra-large and extra-long spray-coated insulated pipes introduced this time use the most advanced intelligent production lines available in China; they are equipped with functions for edge milling, shaping, and remote control of internal and external welding processes. They utilize the latest generation of Lincoln welding machines from the United States, as well as an automatic weld tracking system. In addition, they feature intelligent control systems for welding and testing, along with a data center, enabling intelligent manufacturing through the MES system. The insulation is produced using a chuck-type spraying and winding production line; the polyurethane has a uniform density, no voids, a low water absorption rate, and stable performance.
